Package A: Group Escorted Hiking Holidays

Includes:

    · 7 days Bed and Breakfast plus full Irish breakfast
    · 7 evening meals
    · 6 walking days with optional free day
    · Picnic lunch on all walking days
    · Transport to and from the walking locations and transport of luggage
    · Escorted by Irish guide
    · Airport transfer (within our timetable)

Single Supplement: €285

This particular package begins with a briefing session at 18.00hrs on your day of arrival followed by dinner on Day 1.

Tour dates are preset and you can choose the date that suits you and join two weeks together if you wish. A total of 6 people minimum are required per tour with a maximum of 14 people. Information will be given to you during the holiday on local history, archaeology, flora and fauna as well as general information on the locality.

Package B: Special Interest Escorted Walking Holidays

Limited to 8 persons. Includes:

The Special Interest Escorted Holiday Packages cater for those who are interested in particular things such as a region or an adventure holiday. The walkers on these special interest holidays are less experienced with some participants on the first walking holiday. This package is extremely flexible as it is limited to 8 persons.

Tour dates are preset but you may choose the date that suits you and join two weeks together if you wish. Information will be given to you during the holiday on local history, archaeology, flora and fauna as well as general information on the locality.

The tour dates for the Individual / Self Guiding Adventure Package are not pre set so you are free to begin on whatever day suits you.

A full information pack will given on each days walking, also a map and local information will be waiting for you at the first guesthouse. Directions will be given to you on how to find the first guesthouse in advance. Not included in the price are the following airport transfers, picnic lunches, evening meals, any extra nights accommodation or transfers outside those stated in the itinerary.

About Each Location:

Dingle Peninsula:
Best known for its traditional Irish music and Irish speaking population, this location gives wonderful scenery, great walking and enjoyable evenings.

Kerry Peninsula:
Also known as the Ring of Kerry, is probably the most famous place in Ireland. The walking packages on offer give you the opportunity to explore the less touristy places in this rural paradise.

Beara Peninsula:
The forgotten corner of the south west of Ireland. The ruggedness of Dingle combined with the beauty of Kerry will leave visitors amazed.

Wicklow:
Or the Garden of Ireland has lots of spectacular scenery on offer amongst its rolling mountains.

Sligo and Donegal:
Both are two neighboring counties waiting to be discovered. In Sligo take a walk around Benbullben and then on to the southwest corner of Donegal to towns such as Bundoran and the scenic Glenveagh National Park.

Burren/Connemara:
Explore this fascinating limestone region which is one of its kind in Europe or you can also choose to visit the bogs of Connemara where the locals speak the native tongue and will be more than happy to welcome you.

Traditional Ireland:
Featuring traditional Irish music and culture. The Special Interest Escorted Walking Package takes place in the North Kerry and Burren regions. The walking isn't too difficult; it's the nightlife that saps the energy!

Kerry the Kingdom:
Kerry is steeped in history covering the early Christian years in Ireland. Each holiday takes advantage of the wealth of early Christian remains and takes place on the Dingle Peninsula, North Kerry and the Ring of Kerry.

The South West Coast:
This area dates back to the Stone Age Years in Pre-Christian Ireland- on the Beara and Sheep's Head Peninsulas.

The Western Coast:
Takes in the Best of the West in Connemara and north Co. Clare-wonderful scenery and amazing contrasts with a fascinating history between wealth and the famine.

Ulster Unlimited:
Ulster boasts the famous and incredible " Giant's Causeway", the Antrim Glens, Dunseverick Castle and many more amazing places to discover. Untouched by tourism. Ulster offers a unique type of walking in isolated countryside with people who are friendly and helpful, it is a pleasure to go there.

Other Important Information:

Equipment List You Will Require:
The following items must be brought when participating in these walking packages:


    Footwear - good waterproof walking boots with ankle support (preferably leather)
    Clothing - rain jacket and trousers
    Other - day rucksack and gaiters

The following items are also recommended- gloves, hat, sun cream, midget repellent, thermos flask and lunch box.

Please note- Denim jeans and rain-capes are not suitable for walking in Ireland and are not what we consider to be correct equipment.

Luggage- Please note - clients are requested to come on Escorted Holidays with a maximum of 2 small bags per person and not large suitcases. Clients must be able to carry their own suitcases up flights of stairs (usually narrow and steep) in bed and breakfast houses. Clients on Self-Guiding holidays are requested to come with 2 small bags per person and not large suitcases. Excessive luggage will incur extra transport charges when moving them from one house to the next.
