The imaginative and challenging cross country course traverses 300 acres of the finest farmland in the midlands, or simply trek around the farm and country lanes at leisure. Trek along the Grand Canal and end the day with a sumptuous meal in the dining room followed by a drink at the fire and a relaxing evening.

The accommodation at Annaharvey is in its lovingly restored grain barn, with its pitch-pine floors and beams, open fires, and en-suite bedrooms, complemented with colorful patchwork quilts.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Dublin or Shannon Airports. Pass through customs and pick up your reserved car - Group B from HERTZ, FUNTREK’S car hire partner. Travel approximately an hour’s drive to Tullamore, located in County Offaly , the Midlands of Ireland. Annaharvey Farm is situated just 3 miles outside of Tullamore town. There you will be met by your gracious hosts, the Deverell family. Your accommodations can only be described as luxurious, with every facility and comfort at hand. The setting is a restored grain barn which has been sumptuously fitted out to the highest standards. Each of the bedrooms are en - suite with a number of family rooms available. All meals are catered for in the superb, new Bistro. The food is freshly prepared using local produce where possible, ensuring the best of Irish food everyday of your stay. After checking in, have a look at the excellent equestrian facilities, which include an indoor arena, an outdoor sand ring with professional footing and a challenging cross country course. Enjoy a full dinner in the evening and relax by the fire. A selection of wine is available.

Day 2

Enjoy a traditional full Irish breakfast. After Breakfast, meet your instructor and discuss your equestrian skills . Mount up and have your riding skills assessed by a qualified instructor and go for a hack. After the morning’s ride, it’s time for a light lunch at the Bistro. After lunch have a short rest and it’s time to meet at the stables for the afternoon’s ride. After the ride, freshen up and relax before dinner with a glass of wine. Enjoy a wonderful meal and restful evening near the fire after your first full day at Annaharvey Farm.

Day 3 - 7

Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at Annaharvey Farm. You can have a riding lesson in flat work or cross country jumping; or simply enjoy the scenery with a quiet hack .

Day 8

After breakfast, you depart and say farewell to a wonderful Complete Equestrian Holiday you will never forget.
