Par 72, 6,700 yards. Traditional Championship Links. The most westerly golf course in Europe. Each hole on this magnificent links is carved from the natural landscape of one of the most unspoiled parts of Europe. The course layout is links, but not in the same mountainous and sand dune sense as say, Ballybunion. While giving the appearance of undefined terrain, it is in fact full of tricky undulations and swales, the very building blocks of traditional links golf. The par 3 10th at 190 yards, and par 5's at 11th ( 523 yards ) 13th ( 470 yards ) and 18th ( 496 yards ) in wind or no wind, are likely to provide more excitement and talking points that you are likely to meet wherever golf is played. Also as you play, the whole panorama of the Dingle Peninsula is revealed - hidden Bays with small fishing villages, glorious hills and mountains and the Blasket Islands out in the wild Atlantic. This area abounds in archeological treasures, wild flora and fauna, arts and crafts and ancient Gaelic culture. The Irish language is still spoken here. These magical and mystical qualities will make your round of golf at Ceann Sibeal one you will never forget.
