Owned and operates by the Vaughan Family, this warm and friendly hotel is situated in the delightful fishing village of Roundstone in scenic Connemara. Built in the 19th Century by Scottish engineer Alexander Nimmo, the village is set against the wild and rugged splendour of Connemara and its Twelve Bens Mountain range. Nearby Dogs Bay and Gurteen Bay form a long curving shore which joins a mile-long granite island to the mainland. Activities in the area include sea angling, watersports, hillwalking, pony trekking and golf.
